On 31 January 2020, the UK left the EU. The subsequent transition period has also come to an end on 31 December 2020 and we we have left the Single Market and Customs Union. 

The United Kingdom has agreed a Trade and Cooperation Agreement with the EU. This agreement affects citizens, businesses, and travel to the EU. Use the Brexit checker to get a personalised list of actions that you, your business and your family may have to take to comply with the new rules.

The European Union (Future Relationship) Act received Royal Assent on 31st December, which you can read here
