A healthy local economy

Whilst I was Minister for Small Business, in the summer of 2022, the Government supported the introduction of the Employment (Allocation of tips) Bill, which has just received Royal Assent.

As another year comes to a close, this December and in the run up to Christmas, I have been thinking about independent retailers and the part that they play in our high street and community.

Throughout my time as the Member of Parliament for Loughborough, listening to and supporting constituents with local concerns has been at the forefront of my agenda. So, it was great to join the East Midlands Housing Group for a ‘Ward Walk’ on the 7th of October at Ladybird Close.
