Jane Hunt MP asked:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what discussions she has had with (a) the police and (b) other stakeholders on introducing further measures to tackle drug driving.

The Rt Hon Kit Malthouse MP, Minister for Policing, responded:

NFU meeting

Meeting to discuss national farming issues with local representatives.

Meeting with the Environment Agency

Meeting to discuss flooding issues throughout the constituency, but most notably, Sileby, Mountsorrel, Hathern and central Loughborough.

Charnwood Campus visit

Met with the manager who runs Charnwood Campus to discuss their work and how I could help.

Give a Day to Policing

Joined the police in Enderby, Euston Rd and in Loughborough in the ‘Give a Day to Policing’ campaign.

Fire Brigade Union meeting

Met with the local representative of the Fire Brigade Union to understand their issues on national policy.
